Brown, medical missionary in Calabar, 1957-1964.The images include a memorial for Mary Slessor, Free Church Missionary, in Use near Itu, where she spent the last months of her life, and her grave in Calabar. There is also an image of the Doctor`s house at the Mary Slessor Hospital in Itu. This was where Slessor had reportedly housed the twins she had rescued in the early part of the 20th century.
